Winter Wonderland Family Photo Session In Suncadia / Cle Elum Photographer

First session of 2020!!! I'm so excited to show off this beautiful winter family session. After having to reschedule five times we were finally able to make it work.

Shooting winter outdoor sessions can be very unpredictable. We had to reschedule at least five times. It was either not enough snow or it snowed so much that the roads had to be closed due to so many spin outs and accidents. I can't believe we finally were able to make it work!

At first we planned to do the session at Snowqualmie Pass, but it gets so crowded there on weekends because of all the snowboarders and skiers that we've decided to change our location to Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum.

Suncadia Resort is a gorgeous luxury hotel located in the middle of the forest on top of a mountain overlooking Cle Elum river. They built a huge golf course and in winter time it is all covered in snow providing most gorgeous background for photoshoots!

Filled with many trails and open roads we had plenty of beautiful areas to have this family photo session.

The little boy was an absolute dolly! He was so sweet and full of smiles! Very easy and fun to work with. When shooting little children I never know how it is going to go. I came prepared with lots of toys to entertain him with, but he was so happy during an entire photography session that I didn't need to use any of it.

I love that my client chose red for her family's outfits. I think it goes so well with the winter theme. Really catches your eye.

I'm very happy with how all these pictures turned out. And, what's more important my client absolutely loves them!!!
