Beach Maternity Session @ Saltwater State Park

I love color turquoise! That's why I was so excited when my client picked it as her maternity gown for our beach photo session. To me it's such a happy and summery color. It puts a smile on my face just thinking about it.

I have quite a collection of maternity gowns, but I also give an option to my client to order a different gown if they are not completely happy with what I have to offer. This keeps thing from getting too repetitive in my sessions.

A lot of planning went into this session. While picking maternity gown was simple, getting the rest of the family outfits was a bit harder. Not everything goes with turquoise and we had to be careful to make sure that outfits didn't clash together. I think my client did a good job at getting the outfits to match.

It was a very busy and crowded day of our session. It was a beautiful and sunny day, and apparently we weren't the only ones that thought this would be a good day for a photoshoot. There were at least to other sessions going on at the same time.

Saltwater State Park is a cute little beach park. It has a nice little sand area and has beach grass. It usually not my first choice because of how small and crowded it is, but it was the closest option for my client and I knew I would be able to make it work.

I brought some seashells for her twin boys to play with in order to keep them interested during the session. Everything went really well. I love when everything goes smooth. I couldn't wait to get home and upload the pictures.

To me every session is like Christmas. I can't wait to get home and upload my pictures and start working my magic on them. Hope you like them as much as I do! :)
